i was about to post a thread to talk about an upcoming game but then i figured we should just have a thread to discuss about everything video game wise be it trailers for upcoming games or games your currently playing. That way we wont have to post a new topic every-time we see something vg related.

Firstly:
http://www.gametrailers.com/video/debut-trailer-littlebigplanet-2/100038
Little Big Planet 2: I had the first version but had to trade it in for a new game i wanted all in all the game was fun and online their was nearly a limitless amount of games to play. Now with the second version looks like the little big planet 2 severs are gonna overload with all the fun new stuff thats gonna pop-up online.

Secondly:
http://www.gametrailers.com/video/preview-hd-lost-planet/64880
Lost Planet 2:To be honest I never heard of the lost planet series till now but if the First version is anything like what i see in the preview for this game...either way i had put money down for this game so im going to be picking it up tomorrow.

Right now, I am playing:

Okami (f-ing LOVE it)
Sonic Chronicles (Meh, not bad, not great)
Knights in the Nightmare (stalled around Christmas... still wanna finish it someday),

I'm really looking forward to The Old Republic, but I reeeally doubt I'll have time to play it.
Oh, and Metroid: Other M. I don't even know what to expect out of this, but it looks pretty interesting.

Sorry if that's kinda uninformative. I saw "Video Games" and just kinda started typing. :dropMiles:

Playing : Nothing at the moment

Games looking forward to : Super Mario Galaxy 2 : Looks just as great as the first one & I heard there`s a 3rd playable character when you get 120 stars... I wonder if that rumor is true
Sonic 4 Ep.1 : Even if I can`t download it I can`t wait to see gameplay videos

I so want that game! I've been waiting for almost 12 years for an actual Sonic 4!

Also, I'm thinking of getting an old school Xbox. I wanna try out Crazy Taxi 3, Jet Set Radio Future, Toejam and Earl 3, Futurama the Game, and Family Guy the Game. (maybe a little bit of GTA as well.)

Blame it on Sonic and Sega All Stars Racing for the Wii, and my life playing Genesis, Dreamcast, and gamecube.

Currently only playing WoW and drooling over games I won't be able to play till I graduate. Currently drooling over Nier, made by one of my most favorite developers ever, Cavia.
Published By Square Enix, but it's Cavia who made the game.

Don't check out the review or the game?
If the game I know what I'm getting into. I love Cavia for the stories they craft not so much the gameplay.
However, their gameplay has gotten progressively better with each game. Also Kotaku gave it a wonderful review.

I'm playing Dragon Age: Origins...again. 3rd Run through. For whatever reason I thought being a warrior would be boring...but so far I'm enjoying that. Could very well be because I'm spamming custom mods. I mean, who wouldn't want to have the dog become a levelable summon unit? Or that I have a mod that makes my crew look like they did in the Sacred Ashes trailer. Let's not speak of the overpowered armor that it came with though.

Ok........

Anyway, I rented Final Fantasy XIII. I do have to say I agree with some of the reviews. The game is very slow to start, and it practically holds your hand until near the end of the second chapter. But, once you get over the slow beginning, the game really picks up.

However, it still feels like an RPG on rails because it's very linear, and has little room to explore the game (no massive world, no side quests, and you shop from save points).

Ugh, seconded. As a huge Final Fantasy fan I was SO disappointed in XIII. Slow, leads you around by the nose, the story is only ok (not as good as most others), and I did not enjoy most of the characters.

To quote Spoony's reply to people who say "FFXIII gets good after 25 hours," why the hell should we wait 25 hours for something to be good?

I've been playing the Baldurs Gate series, and all I have to say is that I can clearly see how it put Bioware on the map.
Cover your nose Boo. We will leave no crevice untouched!

Hoping to get Planescape Torment at the end of the week, too. :gleeNekonny:
Just a heads up that it can be a bit expensive to get a hard copy. Finding a legal downloadable one (Gametap, Steam, wherever you can spot one) will probably be easier on your wallet in the end.
