The blessing and the curse of making comics is that you have a series of deadlines that stop you from concentrating on any one thing for too long. The good is that having a routine builds discipline. The bad is that you rarely get anything 100% in line with your vision. This page is, in my eyes, an exception - a place where we got almost everything the way we wanted it. The mythological flashback was a bit of runaway synergy that Kuurion and I stumbled into during a layout session; I'm immensely pleased with it. The more of what we see in our heads that we can get onto the page, the better a case we can make for the story we want to tell.

Well, my theory-post from last page needs to be drastically reworked now. Actually, I need to scrap it altogether and just make a new theory. Though, with this new info, not too sure where to go yet with theories since we're getting some concrete details.

Poor Jill, though. Girl just can't get a break.

Yeah, I can see it in her face. Jill feels guilty because this is essentially her fault that she got herself and the others caught.

And I must say that I'm quite intrigued with this page. From what I can gather, this was nothing more than a science experiment in an underground lab gone array. Also, there was mating between humans and this race? Were they considered the first furries then?

I still wonder how these chuckleheads manage to keep up the conspiracy, not to mention stay on top of things to keep themselves from being exposed and stage these abductions and coverups. Though I suppose they have had what seems to what could be centuries of practice. Though I feel like that time has caused them to become rather arrogant and careless in their practices. One way or another, I have my doubts they will be able to keep this up much longer with these trends.
