This is just a what if, but if a game could be made involving your character
"maybe as a prime or something of the sort", and your character can square off with other primes, Think about it what if characters from the comics here and if interested entered and fought it out one on one too.

who would be interested, in such a game
please post your thoughts about this, and if something like this has been done, then I apologize for the inconvenience.

This brings back memories....

I remember years ago when we had the Chaos Arena topic where people submitted move lists for a imaginary fighting game. Not sure if any of the data for that survived... Not to mention that if any did, it would be horribly out of date.
Really, did someone attempted such an idea, what went wrong I wonder? Any rate you think such an idea will work now that we have the means to attempt it, also what would you expect out of such a game? BTW you're the first to respond and this is already getting interesting?

I honestly have no idea at the moment. I do know that it would be more engaging for more people if there was a rather big roster.
Maybe a team league among the regular or something, I dunno?
the game would have a great roster mainly because of any one would be able to join the fight
[doublepost=1488662719,1488662687][/doublepost] I tried to find the game and couldn't

It was just lack of interest. Besides, it wasn't really a game, but rather just making up move lists and a bare bones story. Besides, this was YEARS ago, back when we only had about 4 main comics on this site.

So, if the game really existed and moves were made, you think people would join it?

After watching some All Stars Battle Royale playthroughs, I was thinking about making an ultimate roster with the KB chars, honorable fans/forumites, and suprise guests. But haven't started yet.
you don't say, why don't you start a conversation with me because I may have something to show you

Finally decided to show a layout.

It goes like this, characters from a specific artist in each group. More than four, but sixteen is max.

The guests I was thinking of would be from Anaria, Gold Digger, TwoKinds, and console exclusives if this were on PS4 or Switch. Updated: Anthronauts (even though it's cancelled still makes it. but as DLC. Along with Guests and Forumites)

Some music would be fitting...

That's quite a bit, but would be fun to see them all square off. Keep in mind other forum members that don't make comics would want to enter, so the roster would be limited for they can join, but this is all theory any way and was to get a lot of input on it.

But you know, why not have members voice their characters too, and have a announcer and even have custom music for characters and their own stage, just some thoughts you know.
[doublepost=1488772751,1488689699][/doublepost]keep in mind this is also what would a member do if their character can be made in game as well
[doublepost=1488870487][/doublepost]Something else I wanted to ask everyone here, if a person would like to create a character for the game how should it be done ?
Perhaps a contest for the main roster, and auditions for characters and art of characters, or would it be best if an artist got paid to take the concepts for 3d format?

So this is more of a Smash Bros/All Stars style. The original idea a long time ago was more of a Guilty Gear/BlazBlue style game.

Then again, if there was a REAL fighting game, I'd see it more as a Lost Worlds/Queen's Blade style, as the artists could actually sell artbook that function as characters for the game... But it's not like anyone really remembers or knows of that game. :(

Not really, Terrific Twenty just wanted to show what his idea would look like.
and I'm curious as to what these game you're talking about. would you have a link to them, or vids for the game in action?

I made several videos on the subject. Here's the basics.

And here's some other videos people have posted on how to play the game.

The game idea would be a great idea to bring a bit more life to the forums.
[doublepost=1488912839,1488912694][/doublepost]The biggest question, if you're involving forum members, what kind of competition would you hold for people to get their characters to be a part of the first version?

Most likely long time members and honorable commissioners like Shaze, MrAmp, White Tiger, Zoie Falcona, Eradose, Aeri, Sussoloc, Wrytergirl, Mislakane, Neocloud, SteeDragonfist, Myself... I could go on, but I need a max total of 16. They would be included as DLC.
[doublepost=1488918410,1488914181][/doublepost]Come to think of it, I wonder if I should include Anthronauts as DLC...

To be honest, I haven't the slightest idea. Mainly this was to get ideas as to how to go about that, also this is still a "concept"
(and nothing else fennec ol' buddy cough keep the secret cough).
As for my own idea for the contest, maybe a art style contest where an contestant has to draw their fighter ,clothes, and equipment.(this makes it easier for me to "understand the character"but basically think of it as a physical RP signup.) as well as make moves heck if the contestant chooses to they can voice said character "there are other things that can be done too", of course commissions of characters can and will be allowed. This is ho help promote better communication between members and artist as well as help gain commissions for said artist (that is if they are interested in this idea too)

That was a darn good question though, but this is all a "what if idea" ...that's highly considered

Interesting, I'm going to archive this and see how this can be used, because this looks fun!

There's also a fan game you can download of it here. http://queensbladebattle.blogspot.com/ Not the full experience (since you don't have the physical books, or can use the modifier cards), but close enough. I also run the game itself at conventions every year, and contact the company who currently own the game rights, Firelight Games, on a regular basis on when I do game demos.
