You know, in retrospect I'm surprised that Celia didn't go druid. They get access to polymorph, and Wild Shape is one of their class abilities.

But Celia wanted to change the shape of other people. =P
That's where polymorph comes in :p

Ah...so Mark is one of those GMs...this might call for one of the players pulling an Old Man Henderson.

I just got back into the grove of doing some stuff and must say that the last couple of arcs were pretty funny; however, this last page took it home with Lukas busting out of that there spider.

Old Man Henderson?
Short version: Bad GM of the "unfair, unfun, and various other "un-s" variety was GMing a Trail of Cthulhu game and made the mistake of pissing off the resident Roleplayer (not roleplayer as in player, Roleplayer as in 'this person's acting at the table'). So in retaliation, Old Man Henderson came into being as a derailing munchkin of a character, which TVTropes describes as an expy of "the Dude from the Big Lebowski, with a lot of the mellow taken out and replaced with pure insanity". His antics included dropping a yacht on a penthouse sweet owned by cultists, smoking a blunt made out of a page of the Necronomicon, turning the campaign from an investigation into open war with the cultists, and actually permanently killing Hastur. Full story can be found (with ample profanity) here.

OMGG! Mark’s face is hilarious in that first panel. And there’s nothing like board games to take one’s mind off of impending danger.

Okay, not going to lie, but that was some epic Final Fantasy game play battling there! Also, is it me or is that flame @Cervelet ?

Yes it is! I originally was going to draw the eye of Sauron but then thought it'd be boring, and I needed a placeholder and went with my avatar.

Ah...poor Lukas. Everyone always seems to ignore him.
Also, I'm slightly confused. Why are those two Uber Nerds fighting?

A Munchkin Player with an overpowered character of questionable legitimacy is facing off against a Game Master who's treating the game as PvP (or GMvP) and aiming for a quick TPK instead of facilitating a campaign. Basically you've got a GM and a Player who are more or less cheating for the sake of crushing the other side of the table. It's not surprising that they'd come to blows over it.

I kind of have to agree with her there. Unless you're a heavy metal music fan, I highly doubt boomy music would sooth the soul.

I thought mages had higher accuracy stats. Then again, we're talking about Celia here, and I could see her rushing the attack rather than focusing.
Also, I have to give props to the DM there for resetting those two clearly overpowered characters.

Well now I feel bad for the guy. The gang really needs to drag him along on the next adventure. For initiation purposes.

Ah man...the odd man out. That stinks, but one always answers the call of real life adventure when needed.

Sadness is an integral part of life, but without it the funny bits wouldn't be as funny.

I guess we've all been the odd one out at some point, hence the strong reactions I've seen...

Anyway, next one is shorter

I believe that would be a naga....unless she's referring to the upper half as being a snake and a lower half being a human, which I have no idea what that is called.

There are some that believe that gene splicing will be the next step in human evolution. Adding genes such as a crocodile's ability to regrow missing teeth or a naked mole rat's near immunity to cancer.
