This reminds me, is there a term/trope for a genius/mad scientist type that is certainly intelligent in their field, but rather oblivious twits in many other respects? Cause we are getting much of that here.

A friend described this phenomenon as "real-life min-maxing," so that's what I think of it as.

See, I thought it would be more along the lines of plain arrogance. I mean that in the sense that they believe their outfits to be so perfect that they believe no one would recognize them. I then permeates the others. In addition, they could be playing along so as to not draw attention to the others. Like being ignorant on purpose.

Okay, my intel is a little fuzzy on the subject, but why does Lukas hate the MiB so much? He’s normally the voice of reason when it comes to this kind of stuff. Then again, he’s a guy, and all guys love giant robot fights!

Wait...wouldn't that make the carrier foxy, as in sexy? XD

I don't know why, but when I see that fox MIB person, I swear I think she's wearing a nightie.
But more along with the strip, if they would simply train themselves better, they could really develop that sixth sense of paranoia better.

It is said that Stoner Scientist will come up with one amazing idea in every other arc, and when he does, it will unleash the greatest science ever. All will be in awe of his science.
