Hmm, so Pif'lak is going to try and take advantage of this to writhe her tentacles deeper into Zinvth eh? Wonder if Aliph will see right through this and play along or throw up some roadblocks? Hmm, no Kria might better recognize this one. She's the social one and personal relationships are kinda a big blind spot for Aliph. There is also Biggs desire to off Regina that we have to remember, that could foul up Pif'lak's schemes here something fierce, especially if in the process this Jericho guy gets hurt or worse! Pif'lak's response to the last time one of her clan was offed was rather gruesome. Biggs could well do without having to try and dodge her and her agents while working on his plan to take down the dragons!

I'm actually a bit surprised at the suggestion of using Regina to get in Dan's good books. Considering the state of Clan Cyra, I'd assumed that alliances with them would be inspired by sympathy if not pity, but this page seems to suggest that Dan's would-be allies would themselves have something of not-insignificant value to gain from such an alliance.
